WYOMING DISCOVERY DAYS VENDORS CAN REGISTER AND PAY ON-LINE AT WYOMINGDISCOVERYDAYS.ORG Wyoming Discovery Days will be held Saturday and Sunday, August 3 and 4, 2024, in Hot Springs State Park, Thermopolis, Wyoming. New this year is an added street dance on Friday night from 8-midnight Aug 2nd featuring the band 8 Second Ride. This popular folk festival will celebrate Wyomings unique cultural heritage through stories, music, food, art, livestock, and demonstrations. The festival showcases the creativity and handwork of Wyomings own storytellers, artists, craftsmen, culinary artisans, and musicians. It includes music at the Pavilion, Storytelling, Fine Art and Folk Art Show, Trading Post, Folk Master Craftsmen Tent, artisan and guild demonstrations, Dutch Oven Cooking Competition, Square Dance, Dachshund (weenie dog) Race, hands-on activities for families, and a Rocky Mountain Food Court, and more! Some new additions have been added this year making the festival extra special including some folks from Pits Masters BBQ who will be grilling up some unique and delicious meats at the festival. We have worked with the local folks across Wyoming and brought in some new friends to bring a fun filled weekend with memorable interactive experiences for the whole family,” said Audra Dominguez, Festival Director.

The website, WYOMINGDISCOVERYDAYS.ORG, includes easy registration and access to pay for vendor booth fees, information on how to get to the event grounds, a schedule of the two-day event, with a for the kidsactivities schedule. Craftspeople from around Wyoming will be added as event details continue to develop. A full schedule will be posted by Aug 1, 2024And, of course, the most important part of the site will be advertising the many sponsors who help to make the event happen. So far, the event has received a grant from Wyoming Cultural Trust Fund and Wyoming Arts Council to help cover the cost of bringing craftsmen and craftswomen from all over Wyoming to participate in the festival. There is additional funding from local and state sponsors including the public and private sector.” The event offers opportunities for vendors to sell their wares. A Fine Art and Folk Art show and sale will have items made of paper, clay, metal, fibers, wood, leather, and animal byproducts. Other vendor art will include paintings, photography, jewelry, and sculpture. The Trading Post will have other arts and crafts for sale. The website will help determine if your booth will be part of the fine art, folk art or trading post. Food vendors are always welcome. The Food Court offers an array of Rocky Mountain foods unique to Wyoming including Indian Tacos, Chuck Wagon meals, a wide variety of Wyomings most beloved food trucks, and Kettle Corn. A vast range of delicious food will be available throughout the festival.
